Winter in June

Sole Designer | Twine

March 2020 - June 2020

(Game Link)

A game about depression. This game takes a close look at a personal experience, and serves as a commentary on for-profit mental health spaces. It utilizes text transformations, prose, and Twine functions to emphasize feelings of dread, anxiety, and loneliness. The game contains over 18,000 words with varied paths and 2 endings.

Originally titled “Fremont”, this game was drafted for a student project. A year later, I returned to the project with more intention and focus on a curated experience.
