Winter in June
I served as sole designer and developer for Winter in June. The game was designed in Twine, and depicts the emotions of someone suffering from mental illness. More specifically, it utilizes Twine text transformations and functions to emphasize feelings of dread, anxiety, and loneliness. The game contains over 18k words, with varied paths and endings depending on the choices the player makes.
Originally titled “Fremont”, this game was drafted for a student project. A year later, I redesigned the project with more intention and focus on a curated experience.
